2026 Survey

With maize harvest now underway across most of the country in the middle of August, it is clear that we are in unprecedented times for the crop. The effects of weather continue to challenge our management decisions and cropping choices for the future.

With each year/season growers continue to experience new and continued challenges with cropping. The MGA are keen to gather as much information as possible in each season going forward in order to better understand these challenges and ensure that the advice we are providing is relevant and helpful to our members. 

We have compiled a survey form so that you can provide information on your crops in 2026, it is our goal to collect information every year and compile this into a central, anonymous database. Please share as much information as you can/feel comfortable with, none of the data is mandatory but postcode/nearest town to your farm would be really helpful for us alongside the crop data. Your individual data will not be shared with any 3^rd parties and will only be used by the MGA for research purposes and to inform our agronomic advice going forwards.

It is important for us to gather as much information as possible, not only in drought seasons like we have experienced in 2026 though clearly this is an important year for us to collect data. We thank you for you in advance for taking the time to provide any information you can.
