The August 2025 edition of MGA Times features practical advice and updates for members as the maize harvest approaches. Jon Myhill shares guidance on preparing for harvest to maximise yield and crop quality, while ADAS provides insights on effective farm waste management and introduces IPMNet, a grower-led network supporting sustainable pest management.
Members are reminded about the Shepton Trial Site Open Breakfast on Thursday 14th August, offering a chance to view trial plots, discuss results, and enjoy a bacon bap with fellow growers. Non-members are welcome for a small fee.
